Team Rubicon, in partnership with the Yarnell Firewise team, will be supporting a 

Yarnell Fire Mitigation Operation starting at 10 am on July 10–12, 

with the possibility of extending through July 13.

The operation will focus on creating defensible space for prioritized residents in the Yarnell area, including low-income residents and those who may not be physically able to complete this work on their own.

The team will be based out of the Fire Administration Building, located at:

22555 S State Route 89

Yarnell, AZ 85362

YCCOAD members are welcome to stop by, learn more Team Rubicon’s operation, and see the work being done. For anyone interested in volunteering directly, Team Rubicon is also looking for external volunteers who may be willing to help support the effort.

This is a great opportunity to see mitigation work in action, support a local community, and connect with partners doing meaningful preparedness and risk-reduction work in Yavapai County.
