DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE – Important information specific to online/virtual instructor-led course delivery: \n• This course will be delivered online. \n• A link to the course will be emailed to the students who are approved to attend. \n• Students are required to use an electronic device that has a speaker\, microphone and camera\, as well as internet connection capable of streaming video and audio. \n• There will be a designated time to log into the course beforehand to test your connection and access. \n• Course materials will be provided electronically before the start of class. No printed materials will be provided. Students should familiarize themselves with the layout and contents of learning materials prior to class. \n  \nDescription: This course provides executives\, senior officials and tribal leaders (including elected officials\, city/county managers\, agency administrators\, administrative support\, etc.) an orientation to the Incident Command System (ICS). This knowledge will also benefit administrative and support personnel and anyone else who supports the mission that needs an overview of ICS. Participants will become familiarized with Incident Command System (ICS) principles and their role in supporting incident management. Topics covered include: ICS definition and description\, ICS organization and features\, unified and area command\, coordination and incident management assessment and ICS preparedness. \nMandatory Prerequisite: None. \nTarget Audience: Executives\, senior officials and tribal leaders (including elected officials\, city/county managers\, agency administrators\, administrative support\, etc.). \nRegistration: Self-registration through the state’s online registration system at dematraining.az.gov is required. New users will be required to create an account prior to enrollment. Instructions are included on page 2 of this bulletin.
