DESCRIPTION:Team Rubicon\, in partnership with the Yarnell Firewise team\, will be supporting a  \nYarnell Fire Mitigation Operation starting at 10 am on July 10–12\,  \nwith the possibility of extending through July 13. \nThe operation will focus on creating defensible space for prioritized residents in the Yarnell area\, including low-income residents and those who may not be physically able to complete this work on their own. \nThe team will be based out of the Fire Administration Building\, located at: \n22555 S State Route 89 \nYarnell\, AZ 85362 \nYCCOAD members are welcome to stop by\, learn more Team Rubicon’s operation\, and see the work being done. DESCRIPTION:Description: This course provides local and State-level emergency responders with a robust understanding of the duties\, responsibilities\, and capabilities of an effective Logistics Section Chief on an All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT). These responsibilities fall into two categories: 1) responding to the incident\, and 2) effectively fulfilling the position responsibilities of a Logistics Section Chief on an AHIMT. Exercises\, simulations\, discussions\, and a final exam enable participants to process and apply their new knowledge. \nMandatory Prerequisites: **NOTE** The following prerequisite are mandatory and must be completed before requesting enrollment. Waivers will not be granted under any circumstance. Certificates of completion or FEMA transcript must be uploaded during registration. • G300: Intermediate Incident Command System. • G400: Advanced Incident Command System (ICS). \nTarget Audience: NIMS ICS All-Hazards Position-Specific training should be completed by personnel who are regularly assigned to Functional\, Support\, or Unit Leader positions on Type 3 or 4 AHIMTs\, or by those persons whose agencies require them to be credentialed/certified in those positions. \nRegistration: Self-registration through the state’s online registration system at dematraining.az.gov is required. \nEnrollment no later than 14 days prior to the start of the course is recommended.
